A mom to two amazing daughters, I am also a passionate introvert who thrives in small, meaningful moments. As a wedding videographer in and around Buffalo, NY for the last 5 years, I wear many hats beyond capturing your day on film. Think of me as your day’s storyteller, emotional guide, and even the wedding dress carrier extraordinaire!

How did I end up here in wedding videography, you might ask.

I stumbled upon wedding videography when one of my photographer friends pushed me out of my comfort zone and suggested I film our friend's wedding. At the time, I was already familiar with shooting and the video editing portion because I was running my own YouTube channel. GoPro and iPhone in hand, you best believe I was able to make my very first highlight reel. And the rest is history!

Wait, what did you do before becoming a wedding videographer?

To be quite candid (& uphold my company name) I don't have any formal training or degree to speak of for video production. I actually hold a doctorate in chemistry (so *technically* it's Dr. Kierra, but I won't hold you to it!) from the University of Rochester and worked at a semiconductor startup company in Oregon before moving back to Rochester, NY. Did that come out of left field? I tend to find when getting to know other wedding vendors, that we all had a former career before being able to make the transition to being full time in this industry.

How did you make it work?

One of the best lessons I learned in grad school is that you are the one most responsible for your own learning and growth. When it comes down to it, I have an apt for learning, a very technically based background in working with and troubleshooting chemistry instrumentation, can think at a higher, more critical level, and the wherewithal to get the job done (don't tell my husband, but I am handier than he is!). When it comes to wedding videography, I find that it is the perfect blend of technical to feed my inner nerd and creativity for my soul to be fulfilled. I just so happened to move from one male-dominated industry to the next. ;)

Back to wedding stuff!

I’m here to document every heartfelt vow, candid laugh, and joyous dance move with a keen eye for detail and a touch of warmth. From behind the camera to helping with the details of the day, my goal is to seamlessly blend into your celebration and turn your big day into a cherished film. Let’s create something beautiful together—one moment at a time.

Outside of videography and chemistry...

When I am not chasing after toddlers, our corgi named Ruger,  or forgotten bridesmaid bouquets, you can find me baking bread, cross stitching,  watching the latest season of Survivor, or sending way too many Instagram reels to my family.

Even Better!

What's one thing you wish couple's would incorporate more into their wedding?

Two words and then let me explain: dollar dances.

I've been a guest at one wedding where this was done, and I've filmed two weddings where this was done. And as both the guest and the videographer, I love this for two reasons:

(1) as a guest, I got to say hi to both the bride and groom personally, and have a little talk with them one on one and

(2) as a wedding videographer, I got to capture literally some of the best footage I have ever gotten of genuine joy and excitement, over and over again from each guest.

It creates the best little montage at the end of your video, and you won't end your wedding day regretting that you didn't get to be present with every guest.

See the examples below at the end of their highlight reels to get an idea of what the final montage could look like.
