From childhood block parties and first crushes to high school soccer games and late-night conversations, their friendship formed the foundation of the person Christina has become today: someone who “feels deeply and shows up 100% of the time for the people in her life.”
It’s no surprise that when life demanded hard work — like going back to school for nursing — she didn’t do it alone. Right by her side was Nick. Her “voice of reason in the chaos,” her late-night study partner, and her reminder to make life fun through the process.
Stability, support & growth: In his vows, Nick spoke with such heartfelt sincerity:
“You make me feel safe. Lucky doesn’t even begin to describe it. Your understanding of me, patience for me, and willingness to push me out of my comfort zone are all reasons why I will never find anyone else like you ever again. You are a true one of one Christina Rose.”

“I have been dreaming of this time since I was a little girl … you have taught me patience … When my mind is moving way too fast, you slow me down … You create a safe space for me.”

When it was time, friends and family gathered under the pavilion — surrounded by Ravenwood’s lush gardens, soft floral accents, and the gentle rustle of leaves overhead.
As vows were exchanged, Christina and Nick looked into each other’s eyes and made promises that echo far beyond that day: to support each other, to build their dreams together, to share in joy and hardship, and to love and cherish.
When the Christina's brother pronounced them husband and wife — and the moment came to seal their vows with a kiss — the garden seemed to glow a little brighter, as if even nature was celebrating their union.

Speeches from family and friends added depth, humor, and warmth to the night. From childhood memories of growing up on the same street to moving in together, buying their first home, and building a life — every word painted a vivid picture of who Christina and Nick are, and what they mean to the people around them.
One of the most touching moments came when the Maid(s) of Honor shared memories of a 25-year friendship, recalling block parties, first crushes, teen years and beyond. Their love, loyalty, and admiration for Christina was evident — and they welcomed Nick with open arms, grateful he was the one “who understands her, supports her, and makes her a better person.”
Moments like these — in quiet sincerity, through tears, smiles, and laughter — are what made the night so memorable.
We ended the last bit of autumn daylight out on the golf grounds, where the sun decided to emerge and produce the most stunning golden hour footage to date. So much so it brought Christina to tears of happiness and joy. She knew her grandfather was with her on her most special of days.
